Vision and mission: This non-profit organization is a platform for the children and by the children by virtue of which problems faced by children from impovershed backgrounds are identified and addressed and their respective families and communities are collectively made aware of the same. The main aim of this NGO is to empower children through education, proper nutrition and awareness campaigns so that they can address their own problems effectively and take collective action in order to solve the same. The main vision of this organization is to safeguard and respect the rights that every child is entitled to and ensure that they are not deprived of the same.
Projects for volunteers and their responsibilities:
Integrated program for nutrition improvement
The program builds aims to promote curative care of malnourished and impoverished children through a collective approach-community participation. The main beneficiaries of this program are children below six years (particularly children aged less than 3 years), teenage girls, expecting women and lactating mothers.
Collective action towards school education
To ensure a child receives proper primary education, his/her family as well as his/her community must take an active role and ensure that the child remains in school until he/she completes his/her education.
Children action groups
Children must be sufficiently educated, informed and made aware of their own rights so that they become empowered to restore their own rights. This platform gives children a voice to express their own thoughts and opinions through various forms of art such as dancing, writing, painting and participating in dramas and theatres.
Research, advocacy and training
This organization is actively involved in research in various disciplines such as advocating for rights of children via multiple platforms . They also play the roles of trainers and facilitators, thus enhancing the capacity of individuals and educating them on child rights issues.
Volunteer skills: Creative, good communication skills, good mentoring skills, teaching skills, good negotiation skills, exceptional writing skills, awareness of what is going on around child rights in India
